Just one more reason I Hate Joe Lieberman.

Thanks again NARAL & Planned Parenthood for endorsing Joe Lieberman over Democratic candidate Ned Lamont in the 2006 Connecticut election. The presidential candidate being endorsed by your choice for senator has this to say about Roe v. Wade:

John McCain believes Roe v. Wade is a flawed decision that must be overturned, and as president he will nominate judges who understand that courts should not be in the business of legislating from the bench. Constitutional balance would be restored by the reversal of Roe v. Wade, returning the abortion question to the individual states. The difficult issue of abortion should not be decided by judicial fiat.

Go ahead. Act surprised.

Don’t get me started on either one of them. I saw Lieberman at the train station in NYC a few weeks ago. Now I’m mad that I didn’t “accidentally” cut in front of him in line.

I still can’t believe how much he’s changed — he used to be such a nice liberal person, a fighter for individual rights. It makes me wonder how much wool he pulled over Al Gore’s eyes to have been his running mate. Cynically I then wonder how much wool Al Gore was pulling over our eyes to make us believe how liberal and committed to our personal liberties he really is/was.

Ah, what a tangled web politics is. Here I am doubting Al because of Joe.
