election day in Milwaukee
Election Day dawned in the midwest in a most glorious and unexpected way this morning. Cloudless skies and mild temperatures around the 70 degree mark seem almost surreal for November 4th this far north.
Overheard on the radio this morning as I was rushing out the door that Obama’s home state campaign party will take place in Chicago’s Grant Park where thousands of people are expected to converge. McCain’s party? The Arizona Biltmore, where the biggest dilemma the party planners face is how much champagne to order.
Why does this make me think Titanic?
