This past Sunday was needle in the northwoods day for ThreadingWater. While GH threaded some water in his inimitable way, I hiked, knit and gathered dead weeds. (teasel, milkweed, yarrow – akabini, I know you can relate)
And, if you need to know why I didn’t join GH on the water, the explanation has to do with a crocheting injury. Stop laughing.
Thus, while my lover was engaged in this activity
I was toting my current knitting along the riverbank, much to the amusement of a local trout fisherman who happened along the trail as I was posing my Blue Moon “Socks that Rock” sock – on a rock!
But, I digress. My real topic for today is Other Bloggers Who Write About Knitting and Politics. Two that you should know are Whoopsy Daisy and Queer Joe’s Knitting Blog. Ten clicks of my aluminum needle tips to both of them from TW! Their political commentary is knitterly sharp and their knitting is always an inspiration.
