These are tough times for the Vatican. With the popularity of evangelical cults on the rise, the Vatican has a fine line to walk in order to maintain dominance among its most conservative followers. Thus, the recent
P.R. moves decisions to do away with limbo (guess some of those infallible popes got it wrong), and fast-track JP2 to sainthood (that’ll secure the entire country of Poland for generations.)
But now, Italy is considering legislation that would recognize unmarried unions between both heterosexuals and homosexuals. Ouch! That has to hurt.
I wonder . . . How would Mr. Deity lay down the law?
