Bombs on the Vine

Two weeks of rain – soaking, relentless, saturating rain – necessitated an emergency garden rescue. Greatest Husband’s tomatoes were literally exploding on the vine.

Last night’s salvage operation resulted in this:

I would have liked to photograph the jars sitting in sparkling sunshine, but . . .

    Oh, I’m so jealous! My tomatoes are not doing much this year…it hasn’t been warm enough! It’s warming up now, so maybe soon…
