As I struggle to make my way through this week’s major events and happenings, I give you pretty pictures of a late midwestern fall. I captured these with my cell phone camera, and that forced me to learn how to transfer cell phone pics to email.
I was hiking in pouring rain for two hours and discovered that my hiking boots were no longer water-proofed after the first twenty minutes. No matter. The beauty of wool socks is that they keep you warm even when wringing wet.
I’ll be back next week after I spend some quality time here.
